Finally a little glimpse into the hanging garden I started and have added to over the last few month in an attempt to de-stress and get rid of my pesky headaches!!

Last weekend I went and bought a bird bath to add to my stress-less zone
Hopefully it along with my bird feeders will attract more feathered friends! I love to sit and sip tea and watch the birds, that is the ultimate stress detoxing time for me (when I have the time to actually sit). I know I should be making more time for that and its a goal to do so!!
I also bought some more succulents at a local market over the weekend and purchased another bucket yesterday, so this weekend I can get to expanding “my stress-less zone”. I love it!!!
Also on the cards for this weekend is working on some new cupcake flavours for the Crazy Bunny Cupcake catalogue! Last weekend was busy busy and I managed to pop out two new flavours – cookies and cream & rocky road…. hmmmm good
Here’s to cupcakes and flowers and all those things that beat the blues and stress!!

Seriously? It’s October already? What happened to this year?
Time is whizzing by at warp speed and before we know it, it will be Christmas. Speaking of which, I have been a good little bunny and have already started my Christmas shopping!! Can you believe it??!! Actually sticking to one of my resolutions!
Go bunny go!!
I am looking forward to my little break in December and spending time with family and friends. But I am getting ahead of myself. Let’s enjoy October and all it has to offer first. I am hoping for some more cupcake and cake orders to flood in at the last minute!! So here’s holding thumbs!!
These are some of what I’ve been busy with

Its official I now bake for cash
Its been kinda hectic fitting in a full time job, doing my own housework and baking part time for paying customers! But it rocks and so far so good.

Those are some of my creations
And for fun I created the cake below for a friends birthday. He was having everyone around for breakfast so I thought I’d make him a “2 fried eggs” cake as a joke.
I am hoping that business carries on to trickle through to Crazy Bunny Cakes and that I remain crazy about cakes
As for the headaches and stress, it’s been hectic at work with loads of stress on me, but the headaches seem to be coping alright so far. Nothing to really complain about!!
Scrapbooking tomorrow night with the girls and tonight my nephew is acting in his school play… oh and I have 30 cupcakes to ice for delivery tomorrow!!! Crazy crazy… just the way the bunny likes it

Well since I’m posting again it MUST mean I’ve made another cake
Yes, yes I have… please see her below
Isn’t she pretty!!?? And all her little cupcakes
Jebb and I had a chat last night and I may be starting a little cupcake baking business on the side very soon. So watch this space. It’s all very exciting and a little scary at the same time. I am not really sure where I’m going to find the time to fit it in, but I will never know if I don’t try….

It was time to do my Aunty duties again today and supply a birthday cake for my nephew who is turning ten. He wanted a soccer party!!! This is what I came up with for a cake for him.

Its not perfect, but I’m not a professional
I really liked my “grass”
The most important thing is that it was a hit with the birthday boy and that is after all , all that matters!! I am proud of myself for doing it though and think that eventually I will start getting good enough to charge people for making cakes!!
As for how the stress management is going – its going. I got a little stressed about the cake because it wasn’t perfect, but such is my personality. I am however DOING things I enjoy now which I think is helping with the stress, inculding baking cakes. Will do a few future posts about some of my other activities next week. I know I have been slack on the blogging front!!!

On Sundays we have “Walkies Time”. My dog lives for walkies time. The whole day he pays extra special attention to what I say and doesn’t leave my side for a second. As soon as I mention thats it’s Walkies Time, he jumps up, perks his ears, frowns and tilts his head from side to side. Seriously the cutest thing!!
Did you just say Walkies Time??
In the car and ready to go!! Hurry up mom!! Please note how I take up the WHOLE backseat
Walking along the beachfront…. Come on!! Keep up dad!!
Damn I’m sexy!!
On the way back to the car we checked out the penguins , if only there wasn’t this pesky railing in the way!!!

On Fathers Day last month we went with my family to a pancake house at the beach. Jebb and I arrived a bit early and decided to take a walk along the beach first. We were very glad we did!! We found a local well known man who is known as The Sandman there. He travels around the country from beach to beach building sand castles. Not just any sand castles though…. Luckily I had my camera with and snapped these pics!!

The man has some serious talent!!! He relies on donations from beach goers that view his art.

Its been over a month since my last post!! I have been mostly out of action due to some health issues. I’ve had a pretty rough month really, but I am on the mend so no use complaining about it
What it all boils down to according to my doctors is that I don’t manage my stress well at all. So in an effort to reduce my pain and suffering I am making changes and coming up with ideas on how to deal with stress!! My blog is one of those ides as creativity is one outlet for stress, plus it is a motivating factor for me to get out and take some photos (another hobby I enjoy but tend to neglect!!) so that I have something to post about.
Amongst my other new “stress relievers” is – getting in touch with nature. So I have planted some plants in buckets in my garden (high enough to avoid dog wee wee) and hung up some bird feeders as well. Thanks to my parents for helping with the plants and feeders!! I am more than a little clueless when it comes to things of a gardening nature!! The only things I have ever managed to grow before were herbs until the dog stated peeing on them!!
So in between my usual rambling expect a few posts on stress and my ideas and progress!!!

Sheesh well it’s been awhile since my last post!! I blame work and just being too tired to think up something to say!
It was my nephews 6th birthday this month and he wanted a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle party theme! I offered to make the cake! Bearing in mind that I have never baked a kiddies party cake before. Plus I’m not a confident icer at all!! In fact I’ve never tired to ice a cake with anything other than a knife and a few quick swooshes.
So this is a great achievement for me! I wouldn’t say it was perfect – not by a LONG shot!! but I tried and made a cool cake, so I am proud of myself
I think he is kinda cute
And most importantly my VERY fussy nephew liked it!!
So I guess this would be my step out of my comfort zone for May!! The other nephew who is turning 10 in August thinks he wants a Fear Factor party….. I’d better start planning the cake so long!!

Sadly it’s back to work and normality today after a fantastic long weekend!!
I had some chilling time and some constructive time over the four day break! Mainly though I spent the time reconnecting with Jebb. Life is so fast and whizzes past at a frightening speed, sometimes it is good just to slow it down and spend quality time with loved ones. Even if it means staying in bed till late in the morning drinking coffee and reading books together! Or snuggling up to watch dvd’s. Or to go for walks on the beach. All things I did this weekend! On the more constructive side of things I did make a yummy chocolate cake decorated with little chocolate eggs – all in the Easter spirit of things
The dishes were neglected this weekend
but you know what? Its okay in the greater scheme of things! I will play catch up today after work. As well as attack the monster pile of ironing!! On the last ironing day the iron decided it didn’t feel like working any more. It spat out all its water and tripped the lights. I haven’t switched it back on since in fear that it really has given up the ghost!! I will today though… as we have since run out of clothes!! HA HA. So hold thumbs that Mr Iron is back in the game!!
